This animated fantasy retells the story of Anastasia, daughter of Russia’s last Czar Nicholas. After Rasputin's curse on the Romanovs, little Anastasia is separated from her royal grandmother. Growing up in an orphanage, Anastasia emerges as a young woman called Anya with no clear memory of her youth. Years later, when Anastasia’s grandmother posts a reward for information about her grandchild, Anya is approached by scam artists in search of an Anastasia look-alike. But with constant interference from the evil sorcerer Rasputin, can Anastasia ever fulfill her true destiny?
