In the not-too-distant future, a mercenary named Toorop (Diesel, Fast and Furious) is hired to smuggle a young woman (Thierry) from a convent in Russia to New York. Known only as Aurora, Toorop learns she possesses special gifts and is being pursued by a group of religious zealots. Along with Aurora’s guardian, Sister Rebeka (Yeoh, Sunshine), Toorop must journey across war-ravaged Eastern Europe and protect his charge, a woman who may be the only hope for the future of mankind.
