When a traveling carnival comes to a rural Nebraska town, the latest caged attraction housing an abhorrent beast becomes the talk of the town. When the grotesque and violent creature escapes, it begins terrorizing everything and everyone in its path. It is then up to town sheriff Sam Atlas (Phillips) to assemble a team to track down the demonic creature and stop it from wiping out the townspeople.
