Starring Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell and Ben Barnes
Directed by Andrew Adamson
Having conquered the White Witch, the Pevensie siblings return to Narnia one year later, only to discover that more than 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time. The Golden Age has passed, and Narnia has now been conquered by humans with the evil King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto) in control. Determined to stay in power, the King has driven all of the magical creatures into exile and is plotting to kill his nephew, Prince Caspian (Barnes, Stardust), the rightful heir to the throne. After fleeing from his would-be assassins, Prince Caspian teams up with the Pevensie children to ensure that peace and prosperity return to Narnia.
“[Prince Caspian] is the kind of grandly old-fashioned entertainment we don't get enough of anymore. [Director] Adamson stages breathtaking battles intense enough to rival those from The Lord of the Rings.” -- Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News
