In this long-awaited sequel to Kevin Smith's breakthrough comedy Clerks, Dante (O’Halloran) and Randall (Anderson) are still working in their New Jersey convenience store. But when it is destroyed in a fire, the two are forced to look for new work. Reluctantly, they take jobs at Mooby's, a fast-food restaurant. While Randall continues to abuse the customers, Dante is trying to make the best of the situation since he plans to marry his domineering fiancée and move to Florida. But Dante’s plans are thrown into disarray after he falls for his new boss, Becky (Dawson).
