When Joe (Pesci) and Gus (Glover) head to the Everglades for a fishing trip, they run afoul of a con man named Dekker Massey (Brimble) who steals their car. Deserted and alone, the pair hitch a ride with Rita (Arquette) and Angie (Lynn Whitfield), two women who are out to settle a score with Dekker. When the hapless duo gets roped into helping the ladies out, they get much more than they bargained for.
