Based on the award-winning videogame, the Hitman is a genetically-engineered, elite assassin known only as Agent 47 (Olyphant). Hired by a shadowy group called 'The Agency', Agent 47 has been raised from birth to obey orders and complete his missions with a cold-hearted efficiency. But while on a routine assignment to kill a Russian politician, Agent 47 is betrayed by the Agency and soon finds himself on the run from both Interpol and the Russian secret police. His only ally is a mysterious Russian woman (Kurylenko) who gets caught up in the political conspiracy.
