Decades later, psychotic Mitch Leary (Malkovich) is stalking another president running for re-election. Taunting Frank, he tells him of his plans to kill the president. Frank makes sure he is assigned to presidential protection duty, determined to redeem himself and protect this president - even if it means risking his life.
