Jonathan Cross (Klein) is an all-American hotshot, the most popular player in the fastest and most extreme sport of all time: Rollerball. Along with teammates Marcus Riley (LL Cool J) and Aurora (Rebecca Romijn), Jonathan is living the high life - all for giving viewers what they want: a dangerous game packed with thrills, breakneck speed, and head-slamming action. But when Rollerball’s creator, Petrovich (Reno), realizes that serious on-court accidents bring higher ratings. He begins bribing members of various teams to cause more trouble than necessary. Soon Jonathan and his friends find themselves playing for their lives in a new game without any rules.
