Jack Grimaldi (Oldman) is a corrupt police sergeant who earns extra cash by tipping off the Mob on the whereabouts of protected witnesses. The crooked cop is just as duplicitous in his personal life, leaving his faithful but impatient wife at home while he spends time with his mistress Sheri (Lewis). But everything changes when he meets sultry Russian mobstress Mona Demarkov (Olin), who was recently apprehended for killing Federal agents and government witnesses. When Mona is put under Grimaldi's protection, the beautiful seductress places him in some compromising positions.
