When 10-year-old bear Beary Barrington learns that his human parents aren’t his real ones, he travels to Tennessee to discover the truth behind his lineage. There he discovers that his birthplace, the historic Country Bear Hall, is about to be torn down by a greedy, human banker, Reed Thimple (Walken). Desperate to protect his newfound heritage, Beary seeks out to reunite the legendary 70s rock band, The Country Bears, hoping to convince them to perform a benefit concert to save the musical venue.
